I left Rift because my shard seemed empty & finding groups for Dungeons & quest was a nightmare. I have recently gone back after the news that 1.4 brings. Once I logged into my account I was told I needed to change shards because the one I was on was for new members only ( or something like that ). It had a list of new options so I choose the one that they recommended. I have to say I am very pleased. The shard is alive with people and doing stuff in game seems to have more meaning now! Well done Trion!

Agreed! Transferred off Dimroot and onto Silkweb ... game is twice as much fun now!

Awww... Dimroot is a new realm only now? Well, when, and if I resub, I'll have to talk to my friends to see where to go.

I was on Endless & moved to Atrophinius shard.
The new server is loaded with heartbeats! City is full, and the questing area (@ level 32) is alive as well. I often see multiple people along the roads, grinding out mobs & even taking downs Rifts. Its a nice change from when I 1st started out! I think Rift will be even more enjoyable once the cross realm dungeon finder goes live.

Which game is the picture at the top of the article from? Is that RIFT or LOTRO?
Kunikenwad! Jul 20th 2011 11:40AM
Image info says Rift.

Ah yes, the excitement that a group of fans can create the perfect MMO....
Until they meet....the players.
The most cynical, caustic, overstimulated, spoiled, unhappy people on Earth.
