It's really funny how little the Chinese give a shit about Copyright Infringement and Theft Of Intellectual Property. This, plus all the fake Apple stores that are using the Apple Logo and selling iPads. Oh China, you so crazy!

If you think about it, it's a stunningly smart move. By allowing knockoffs and fakes to use actual logos inside the country itself, they almost completely guarantee that any and all profits that should be heading out of the country (to the correct companies and distributors) stay in China instead. They get all the brand recognition, avoid losing capital, and keep their populace relatively happy with low-quality rip-offs.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is how you dominate the world market.

Doesn't have to be low quality ripoffs, though. Could be genuine quill, right from the same plant that ships product to Apple overseas.
Or it could be a fake that you'd swear was someone's joke...
