I was hoping you' were going to mention Autobar, something a friend on mine turned me onto a while back. I've actually rearranged my bars a bit because of it - but every time I roll a new toon on another server, it resets to the default and I have to move buttons from one bar to another and drag them into the order I want.

Anyone know how to avoid this or if there's a better alternative to autobar that'll give me slide-out access to my mounts, pets, food, water, pots, flasks, professions, etc, all in one place?

There are options in both the bar and button tab that you can set a 'sharing' profile at either the class, server, or account level. I have the extra and basic bars shared at the account level and my class bar is shared at the..... Drum roll.... Class level. If that fails for some reason, just go copy the saved variables file from the character it's properly set up on to the character it isn't and you'll be golden.
