Around Azeroth: Hudson hawks
Hmm. I wonder if Cailedrin of I Dont Care on Stonemaul (US-A) was working on the Ludicrous Speed achievement when he took this screenshot, or if he just really, really likes hawks? Either way, Cailedrin gathered an impressive coterie of birds of prey while doing the Call the Flock daily in Mount Hyjal. I pity the janitor who had to clean up the ground below.

When on the quest you can only have two at once
I suspect fowl play!
(or he just made this after giving the quest in)

If you drop the quest after using the item, you stay a bird (or harpie) and you can collect unlimited birds. It's the easiest way to do the Ludicrous Speed achievement, because the hawks give you the most stacks of Soar. :)

Or... you know. He coulda just called for other players with the Wings of Aviana buff...

@HappyTreeDance
Yeah, I think that's honestly the only way to get the achievement.

Oddly, I got the achievement the regular way on my warrior, without even knowing it was an achievement. My warrior is not one of my mains, so I was determined to go back and get it with my druid and pally as well. After many failed attempts, I did the quest drop thing and it worked like a charm.
Still have no idea how I did it on the warrior though.

Wait...you...you're saying that when I took, tried, and then dropped and retook that quest 15 times to get the right combination for the achievement...I could've done something else?
SERIOUSLY???

Does it really say Hudson? Because there is a town called Hudson who's mascot is a Hawk, hence the "Hudson Hawks" are quite familiar...

You've all got it wrong, this is a rather odd reference to Peter Hudson.

Anyone who knows who he is without going to that link is awesome (or Australian, which implies the awesomosity).
