New BlizzCon site now live

The new BlizzCon community site is now up and running. If, like me, you won't get to go this year, then you can at least use the site to keep track of all the fun you won't be having. Since the site just launched, it's not swollen up with treasures I won't be getting to experience like I expect it will be soon, but for now, I can stifle my resentment and point out that the Global Battle.net invitational will be held at BlizzCon this year.
Looks fun. I'll be sitting around here eating candy. I assume I will, anyway. With the news of the Diablo 3 beta being announced this Aug. 1, it's a safe bet y'all will be playing it at BlizzCon. I will be crying.

I'm guessing this is where you'll be able to watch Blizzcon online if you buy an online pass?

But they always had Diablo 3 on display at BlizzCon since it pretty much was announced. The difference being that the D3 lines are always notoriously long because there is no way to play it other then being at BlizzCon.
So if the beta comes out before then, it'll drive down the lines at D3 at BlizzCon a bit to where lines are now for SC2 and WoW.
Then of course, there is "Titan"... I shudder to think about that line (but at least it won't be the half-mile long line for Comic-Con 2012 tickets!)

I feel your pain, Mr. Rossi; I've never been to BlizzCon and so I, too, will be crying.
And by "crying" I mean "glued to this site for news on the new expansion pack as soon as it's available." ^_^

Im going to blizzcon for the 4th time in a row so the d3 line will be just as epic as always I've gotten all those nifty posters last 3mile times I've been there im running out of walls for blizzcon posters.

I won't be crying. I'll be eating popcorn on my comfy couch as I watch the Direct TV stream which is cheaper than 1/3rd the cost of a ticket.

I have a following 1 or more of the following will happen at this years Blizzcon:
- D3 release-date announcement (Beta supposedly begins Aug 1st)
- WoW Expansion Pack 4 (following the tradition set forth by TBC 2005, WotLK 2007 and Cata 2009)
- Titan Revealed
2 of the above are quite likely, i'll let the readers determine which. Thou I will say, that if Blizzard -doesn't- announce the next expansion pack for WoW, it will likely mean no more expansions for the game, other than standard content patches.

The only way that the next expansion won't be announced at Blizzcon is if they instead announce that the announcement was announced two weeks ago by a certain someone whose name starts with "B" and ends with "oubouille".

I will be crying but I'll fight it with the smugness of knowing I'll be getting news faster than many of the attendees as I'll be purchasing the live-stream. ;)
Honestly though, I'd love to go some-year. UGH!
