Be aware that not all hardcore guilds are like that, and that there are some guilds out there that raid hardcore, with fast progression, where people aren't jerks, everyone gets along and they have that friends and family vibe. It's rare, but it does exist.

So don't assume just because you like the people in your current guild it's impossible to find a group of raiders who raids up to your level you also enjoy spending time with.
