WoW Insider's Weekly Webcomic: Safe Passage
Welcome to another edition of WoW Insider's Weekly Comic, Safe Passage.
It's dangerous to go alone--take this! It's an orcish dagger roughly the size of your upper torso, but it'll do the trick. Also, pardon the hugs on this page. This entire comic features much more hugging than I had anticipated.
Safe Passage has nearly come to an end. Fear not, for there is much more in store for this little slice of Azeroth.
Check out the full comic right here, and tune in next Tuesday morning for a new page. You can also see all the previous pages in the gallery below.

Aww... *sniff*
I love how he pulls out this tiny knife and it looks like a sword in her hands. :)
Cinnamilk Jul 26th 2011 9:26AM
Now I miss Sentry Totem.
Amaxe Jul 26th 2011 10:00AM
My first thought as a shaman was, "He's giving her the most worthless totem in the game?"
Kunikenwad! Jul 26th 2011 10:34AM
@Amaxe
Do not doubt the power of the Sentry Totem. Plus, it's a cute throwback to us old time shaman.

Most worthless totem?!
Sit down, little space demon, and I shall tell you a tale. A tale about a Tauren shaman the found the sentry totem to be one of his best friends.
You see, this Tauren often went to the Arathi Basin to assist the Horde's efforts to gather supplies. One day he had put his sentry totem by the flag at the Lumber Mill and hid safely behind the building. An enemy would run up, ignore the totem and try to cap the flag. The shaman was watching and would run forward to stop the action of that enemy. This enemy, a Mage, fought hard but knew he was doomed, in a desperate he used his feather fall spell and jumped off the cliff. Now this shaman was not to be denied, he too jumped off the cliff and used purge on the Mage. In the last second before his death the shaman thought to look through the Sentry Totem to see if someone else was trying to cap the flag. He looked through the totem and saw no one. And kept looking...
Someone else in BG chat asked how a shaman could levitate 30 feet up. The shaman then stopped seeing through his totem and fell to the earth, taking little to no damage.
Sentry totem had saved the shaman.
This, little demon, was how you elders used the mighty totem. Until they took that away, the bastards. After that it was just for screenshots.

It is wonderful and heart-warming stories like this that give me hope for the world (of warcraft). It validates my tendencies to help players of the other faction, especially if they are lower/much lower level than myself.
Then a skull rogue (opposite faction) ganks me and commits atrocities on my corpse.
*sniff*
Sintra E'Drien of the Ebon Blade, né Sindorei (Do Worgen get hairballs?)

They also scratch the furniture.
Olania Jul 26th 2011 8:30PM
Was it a Tauren rogue? That's just Byron, don't mind him.
:P

There is one key reason why Tauren and Dranei cannot be rouges...
*Invisible*
*starts to 'sneak'*
'Clip, Clop, Clip, Clop'

Gossamer Jul 26th 2011 10:25AM
Wait... a troll teaching a draenei shaman? Blasphemous! In *my* day alliance and dirty hordies didn't mix. Why...
*catches comic out of corner of eye*
Why I...
*overwhelmed by cuteness*
D'aw!
Kunikenwad! Jul 26th 2011 10:36AM
Hopefully they'll be reunited at the Earthen Ring, where he can teach her the way of the elements.
Accipeter Jul 26th 2011 10:26AM
Oooh! "Much more in store for this little slice of Azeroth?" I am psyched!
StClair Jul 26th 2011 12:29PM
