Update: The stream is now over. If you would like to watch the video replay, please click on the image above. The BG queues were very short today, so it's constantdying action.
Last week's adventures
Zul'Farrak is just as fun as it always was. Roblinator, Prottal, Kelius, Darkrozee and Seranne all worked together to help a dead troll find peace and to help a couple of goblins find profit. I was healer, and Kelius was tank. You can guess what everyone else was. Prottal died twice. The first time, I don't think was my fault. Gahzrilla was particularly mean to Prottal when he made us all airborne. The second time he died was totally me, however. I need to find the right healing addon for me, but for now I will still be using my programmable mouse buttons and hotkeys. Do you have any suggestions for a leveling resto shaman?
I know you all voted for elemental, but I like to heal in dungeons. I think part of my problem is that I like to heal in dungeons as a druid. WTB a HOT at this level.
Anyway, we didn't have a wipe, though one of the viewers was rather morbidly curious as to where the local graveyard was. And other than Prottal's untimely demises, everything was smooth and fun.
Confession: Roblinator was in it for the fun, loot and leather -- in that order.
Speaking of leather, Roblinator still needs Heavy Leather to get her through the next harrowing level of leatherworking. Farming adorable faerie dragons does give her a deliciously evil afterglow, but it's still painful to work through this particular phase of making clothes no one wants to wear.
My next adventures
Next week will be questing in Winterspring, but we need to decide what Roblinator's fate will be once she reaches 55 and beyond. Do you want her to keep rotating in questing, and if so, where? Please vote for something you think you would be fun to watch. I actually don't mind Silithus as much as most, so you won't be voting for torture if you choose that. That isn't me trying to use reverse psychology. Really!
From 58 to 60, we have some awkward levels. Not quite able to fly, we long to be grownup like so many of the people we are questing alongside. We do get to travel to a new world and a new hub city with new dailies, but Hellfire is so orange! So very, very orange. If you want to hear me whine about the orange, by all means, choose Hellfire Peninsula.
Until next Wednesday!
Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in It came from the Blog. Anyone can invite, so /whisper Roblinator or any online member. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules -- basically, don't be a funsucker! Visit the guild FAQ for more details.

What? You don't want to hear me whine about Leatherworking? Then you shouldn't have voted to make me keep slogging through it.Dear Blizzard,
Please revamp leatherworking so that it is as fun and profitable to level as inscription and jewelcrafting. Though really, making it anything better than itself and blacksmithing will be a vast improvement.
Much love,
Roblinator

I only watch these to hear your voice at work. Especially when you say "Vroom vroom vroom".

I agree with you about Hellfire. I love all the other BC zones, but Helffire..ugh..

Would rather do Hellfire than Silithus.

I'm with Samutz... Hellfire really isn't that bad, now that you can fly at 60. Although I would recommend staying in Blasted Lands until 60 - interesting quests and stories there, and not having to deal without flying in Hellfire. Or, you can go to about 59.5 in blasted lands, by the time you do 1-2 quests in hellfire you'll be at 60.
The big problem with hellfire used to be the condensed amounts of mobs, especially ones that would pat right into you - died more than a few times down there that way. Now, with flying mounts, you can really pick and choose your fights, much less chance of dying.
I think once you finish the Thrallmar quests, however, you should try to move on to zangarmarsh as quickly as you can, i'm not a fan of the southern quest area nor the blood elf questing hub. Thrallmar quests will lead you into the dungeons which are fun little diversions.

I'm currently leveling a resto shammy too, and have discovered VuhDo as a healing/unit frames addon. I really like it, and it allows you to set your spells to your mouseclicks. Once I got used to it, and got it setup correctly, it makes healing (and dispelling) a breeze.
I just got Riptide, and am loving FINALLY having a DoT. Hang in there - you're not far away! :)

Actually the big problem with hellfire for me, as for Robin too, is it's so damn ugly. it's not about mechanics or quest flow. It's just an unrelentlessly orange zone that is miserable to have to look at

Nothing like a Tauren in a thong in winter climents to make you feel welcome lol
