Breakfast Topic: What's your favorite in-game toy?

World of Warcraft is a huge world filled with many things. One thing that sets it apart from other MMOs for me is the amount of toys and RP items that exist in the game. I claim to have all of them, and I'm pretty sure I have at least 95% of them. I love them all. The day patch 4.1 came out, I dug up the Ancient Amber from archaeology, and I loved it. On the same day, Blizzard also fixed the Gnomish Gravity Well, which is my new favorite engineering item. I have so many toys, I can't pick which one I like the most.
There are even toys that can be combined, like Orb of the Sin'dorei and Kalytha's Haunted Locket (which turns you into a female blood elf, even if you're a male) -- and what about Burgy Blackheart's Handsome Hat combined with Ethereal Oil for a super-ghostly form?
Do you have a bunch of toys like myself? Do you have an Arcanite Ripper that you shred whenever your raid is having an AFK break? Or maybe a Foam Sword Rack to break out a fight? A Super-Simian Sphere to go bananas with? Share your favorite toys and what you like to do with them. They make the game unique, and it's time people express their love for them! (Not to mention ... I might find one that I missed!)

I love my Area 52 transporter. Persists through death and the cooldown is the length of waiting for Tol Barad.

I like combining the various shapeshifting items with the Highborne Soul Mirror, to create a ghostly image of myself in various guises. If you do it quickly enough people don't notice you in the changed form, they just see the ghost. "Guys, does anyone else see a naga in the middle of the raid?"

A couple guildies and I had a great time one evening blowing up each others' steam tonks in the middle of Org. We followed that up with some zeppelin battles. Those toys are easy to come by and you can have a lot of fun with them!

Kalytha's Haunted Locket turns you into a Night elf female and not a Blood elf :)

The trick there is to use the locket to turn into a female nelf, then the orb, to then be a female belf. This is amusing if you're a male toon.
I do the opposite as a female by using the iron boot flask to turn to a male dwarf, then a male belf.

But the Orb of the Sin'dorei does.

You can use a bunch of Pygmy Oils to get the female part first, instead of the Locket. The oils are cheaper, too

Gobin Gumbo.
Always enjoy dropping it down outside the AH in Org when I'm bored.

Goblin even, etc.

It's so hard to choose!
Whether I'm performing a dance with my flaming brazier for the spectators in the Argent Tournament, producing a keg for guild parties, or disguising myself as a wisp for a gag about the only good kind of Night Elf, I have a blast.
Though my Naga form has no dance animations and my goblin nurse calls me fat, I would not part with them. Not for the vendor price. Not for any amount in the world!

Piccolo of the Flaming Fire definitely.
Dance, puppets, dance!

Easy.
Archmage Vargoth's Staff.
Gwynedd Jul 29th 2011 10:03AM
Seconded.
The one thing that really makes it stand out is that it's few and far between compared to most of the other toys one sees around.
It sucks I can't bring him out in arena though. :)

Mine's been this ever since one of my best friends would tell stories about using it during dungeon runs with a friend. She was freaking out, "Who's that guy who keeps following us around?!"

Wind-Up Train Wrecker, defender of auction house sanity. And Baby Spice, bane of mailbox mammoths.
I do quite like the transformation things, though - my paladin has an Orb of Deception, Orb of the Sin'dorei, Leyara's locket, Gnomeregan Pride, and the Iron Boot Flask. I may go back to working on the Time-Lost Figurine now I've finally got the Orb of the Sin'dorei.

"And Baby Spice, bane of mailbox mammoths."
me too! i always keep some on me for that exact reason :D
"Wind-Up Train Wrecker, defender of auction house sanity."
i will admit that there have been a few times i've been SUPER bored, and have sneakily put down a toy train in the AH, only to leap up next to the podiums and "save the day" by placing a wind-up train wrecker. /grins sheepishly

Train Wrecker for me too!
Noyou Jul 29th 2011 9:20PM
I bought the train wrecker on my mage after getting ticked off at someone in the AH with the train. The funny thing is i dont mind the /train emote in moderation but something about a crowd doing it sets me off. One of my favorites is the brewfest pony keg :) I have it on almost every one of my 85s now. I think I have 2 who need it. Definitely looking forward to that this year. The more I play this game the less I care about dungeons and raiding and the more I care about having fun. It's the little things that make me smile :)

It's a tie these days, between my Brazier of Dancing Flames or the Orb of Deception my rogue has had for years. That gets the best reactions, since it's the ultimate beer goggles. My Forsaken rogue becomes a NE. That'll be nasty when it wears off!

Kalytha's Haunted Locket, Orb of the Sin'dorei, Vrykul Drinking Horn, Time-lost Figurine, Iron Boot Flask, and now the Smoke-stained Locket.
I collect shapeshifts and have more but they aren't as fun.
