I had to do a google search to understand why a lower weapon speed was bad. I wish that had been in the article. Not everyone goes that far into things to automatically know that a faster weapon speed means less damage per hit, which translates into less damage for special abilities for most classes.

As an Unholy DK, though, I actually welcome this change. I just picked up the Deathblade on the AH for cheap compared to what it used to be, and the reduced speed doesn't matter to me because of how much of my damage is magic-based, not melee-based.
