Why no mention of using hand of sacrifice if your the main tank casting onto the of-tank for decimation blade.
as the 30% that gets transfered is nothing compared to your total hp while the 30% reduction the decimation blae guy takes makes healing him a hell of a lot easier. and requires him to only have 70% health to survive a blade because of the transfer not the 93~ you would need otherwise.
doesn't the absorbtion effect of ardent defender only occur "if it saves you from death"

I wasn't aware until just yesterday that Hand of Sacrifice is ALSO considered a damage absorb effect, so yes, definitely use Sac.
AD, when activated, gives you a 20% damage absorb effect. If you die, it will also absorb the overkill amount and restore you to 35% health.
