It came from the Blog Live: The Night of the Forsaken
We, the unliving, are marching to Stormwind to protest the living's continued insistence on remaining alive. We begin in Deathknell and will end at the human capital. Join us in game on your undead character of any level on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) or by watching the stream above and joining in the chat after the break.
Protest the living!
Update: The protest is now over. You can watch the video replay of the final part of the protest, which includes the haunting of Stormwind, by clicking on the above image.
If things look a little different today, it's because the gaming portion of Justin.tv is now Twitch.tv. Otherwise, everything should remain the same.
Protest the living!
Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in It came from the Blog. All guild ranks can invite, so /whisper Robinemia or any online member. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules -- basically, don't be a funsucker! Visit the guild FAQ for more details.

"Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother, you're staying alive, staying alive."

Saw this event, made a human, and is now standing outside of Stormwind for opposition.
What? Not everyone can be a raving undead!
Bobury Jul 31st 2011 12:00AM
I was Opposition by the way, I just wanted to make it so you guys arent protesting without anti-protestors. I got people to say /no but that was a horrid mistake. ffs spammers...
And Im here to stake my claim that I was there before StopProtest /stake
Bobury Jul 31st 2011 12:02AM
I hate those funsuckers that decide to just spam, I was thinking just a simple /no one every so often, not 5000000 per second. I apologize deeply for them. :(
Some people don't understand everyone gets the emote...
Fletcher Jul 31st 2011 1:17AM
Spammed through the heart! And you're to blame. You give life a bad name.
Bobury Jul 31st 2011 1:19AM
I can't tell if your sarcastic or entirely serious. It may be my fault, but at least I didn't do it that much. (I was opposition not stopprotest)
Feel free to downrank
Fletcher Jul 31st 2011 2:35AM
Oh, I was being silly. /hug
Kolumbus Jul 31st 2011 12:02AM
This was epic. I enjoyed marching with you all on my worgen rogue and trying to wave at everyone possible.
Kolumbus Jul 31st 2011 12:19AM
I'd also like to apologize for all the Alliance griefing on Zangarmarsh-US. I thought it was much more fun to follow you all from Stranglethorn. Got so many Forsaken hugs that my rogue's leathers will smell for a week.
Fletcher Jul 31st 2011 12:46AM
Oh, you were the worgen rogue? I danced with you!
AudreyR Jul 31st 2011 12:52AM
It did look like you guys were having quite a bit of fun on your side.
We had a few griefers on our side, as well. But try as they may, they couldn't bring down the mood. :)
Arrohon Jul 31st 2011 12:40AM
It was really fun! Sadly I DCed before I got on the zeppelin. Logged back on right when it left...
Mordenheim Jul 31st 2011 12:59AM
This was just a blast to play! I've been down on WoW for a while now and this is just the thing to get me up and playing again. :D
Mordenheim Jul 31st 2011 12:59AM
I was Lockstitch, BTW. ;)
Occamsrazor Jul 31st 2011 2:31AM
I was there!!! I didn't spam emote because that is super lame, but I definitely flagged PVP and did everything I could to taunt violence from the awful horde.
You gather up a group of stinking undead horde, march them in the middle of these volatile times in Azeroth right to the gates of Stormwind and then expect Alliance to welcome you with open arms? NO.
It is not griefing to despise the horde. Thrall sucks and so does his friend goulash or whoever!
Arrohon Jul 31st 2011 2:36AM
Ah, I remember seeing you. Don't remember what you were but I do remember you and stopprotest. I hope you realize that we would've left if you had left us alone. Now our corpses are sitting in the gates of SW. Did I mention they smell horrid? The wonderful pungent smell of rotting flesh. Granted you hang dragon heads in your gates so you might be used to it. PROTEST THE LIVING!
rawnsa Jul 31st 2011 2:59AM
I was killed by dc. Poor old Innocent was right there in Deathknell, as soon as the march started *BAM*. Log in, last about five seconds, and gone again. Gave up after five goes. A bit sad, but I guess my fault for blowing my internet cap.
Fletcher Jul 31st 2011 7:16AM
Eh and Meh and Bah to you, young Eyores! You take it all too seriously. We put on our fancy clothes and came along in a great multitude and had a grand old time, and what of it if the cause was ignoble, if Sylvanas' rule is tyranny and abomination? The cause is a pretense, an excuse to get together. At the end of the day this is a game, Syvlanas is no more real than Tigger or Pooh, and WoW tastes best with a grain of salt.

And a thousand curses upon the comment system - this reply was meant for Occam below.
