I agree. DH is boring and the idea that I have to level every alt through there as well as Firelands is highly irritating.

You don't have to. I find that in general, if you have fully rested exp, and a couple of BOA leveling gear with + experience, or if you join a guild with + experience bonus, you can actually afford to skip one zone, two if you have all the bonuses above.
So for example, you'd do Vashjir + Hyjal, also while doing a couple dungeons, and hit 83 ish. At that point you can go to Tolvir to hit 84, and then Twilight to hit 85.
For me personally, I'd skip Vashjir AND Deepholm, because they're the most 3D zones and very easy to get lost.

On my scribe, I decided to skip deepholm. I ended up doing only 2 zones - Hyjal and Twilight Highlands. With full rested, the guild perk, and a lot of PvP I didn't even need all of TH - I hit 85 about halfway through the zone.
But yeah, for all my other toons I certainly hope they make the shoulder enchants BoA sometime soon.

How do you get lost in Deepholm...it's a circle.
