To kinda add to the potential for Azshara to show herself, either in this expac or next, I don't believe we know what has happened to Neptulion either. (heh at least I dont besides that he appaears to be eaten or taken prisoner by the giant octopus) Could he be imprisoned and maybe attempting to be turned into a watery version of Ragnaros? The potential uproar in ocean and water changes may spark a "blown off course" or "trouble in kul'tiras" spin off maybe as well. I dunno just a few thoughts your article made me start to ponder. Was a great read.

Uh, he was indeed attacked and abducted by Ozumat at the end of the Vashj'ir questline, but the Throne of the Tides is supposed to happen after that, and there we save him. So he is free again.

Not quite. At the end of Throne of the Tides, Neptulon gets sucked out of the place by Ozumat.
