Aegwynn might be gone but isn't Medivh still alive even if MIA? It would be a nice time for him to make a reappearance. Possibly keeping in line with him rarely being seen. You could be questing and suddenly get another quest where an unknown voice is telling you to do something. Throughout the xpac you'll continue to get quests from the mysterious voice. Eventually you'll learn that it's Medivh. Once we finally fight Sargeras (next xpac or later on) at the start of Phase 2 Sarge says screw this. I'm just gonna annihilate you mortals. He does an attack we have no chance to survive against but Velen (who's been helping out during the whole fight) sacrifices himself to protect us. Sarge is too exhausted to simply do that again so we go into phase 2. We beat on him some more and then he's had a chance to regain the energy to completely destroy us. He starts to cast the spell while a raven suddenly flies up. Oh look Medivh decided to join the party. While Medivh and Sarge are duking it out phase 3 begins which is simply the burn phase. All of the magical energy resulting from them going all out will destroy your group if you don't kill him soon. After he dies there's a nice cinematic that shows Medivh finish off Sargeras followed by him discovering Velen isn't quite dead yet. Medivh talks to Velen for a little while until he finally passes on. Medivh creates a memorial in the Dark Beyond so everyone will know of his sacrifice then disappears once again.

"Aegwynn might be gone but isn't Medivh still alive even if MIA?"That's a very open question. He was killed, but that didn't stop him. Since then, he's denied that he's even human ("I left my humanity behind long ago. I am something...different now.") Then we have things like the "Echo of Medivh"... so... yeah. Pretty much anything's possible. He could still show up and play a hand in events, regardless of whether he's still alive or not. Bloody wizards...

Besides Aegwynn and Medivh, their son Medan is also something to consider. He's as much of a Mary-sue as you'll get in Azeroth (the quarter Orc, quarter Draenei, half human sham-drui-mag-adin Guardian of Tirisfal . . . Bleh) but he's in the comics that basically prefaced Cho'gall's return and the entire BoT raid.

"He's as much of a Mary-sue as you'll get in Azeroth"Hardly. He might be a cross-breed with a talent for weilding multiple types of magic, but he's not particularily powerful. He worships the elements and was trained in the use of arcane magic by his adopted father. In the comic, he begins to learn how to weild the light (IE, flash heal). He's not normally anywhere near the league of the other marquee characters like Thrall, Rhonin, etc. It's only as Guardian of Tirisfal, while he acts as a focus for the other members of the council to converge their powers, that he becomes strong.Aegwynn and Medivh actually had *permanent* Guardan of Tirisfal powers because Aegwynn refused to yield them and passed them to her son.
