Thank you very much, sir.

This right here.
I don't know why, but the change to white, the same as common items, was driving me crazy.

Yeah I was thinking there was an addon issue at first. I looked and was even gonna be stupid and open a ticket over something silly, but yeah it was driving me nuts also.

If only they gave it an ilevel that scaled so that I didnt have to craft gear and purchase items from the ilevel at lvl 80 so that I can enter dungeons, Blizzard would fix heirlooms :P
Shame they didnt put Tab targetting back to what it used to be.

@Relmatos
I think the ilvl needs a reworking, should only average out the items equiped and agree on the heirlooms having a scaling ilvl.

Woo-hoo, no more wipes or drops in DPS due to buggy target switching!

Target/tab targetting fixed?
I...I feel the need to dance.
Ronin Aug 8th 2011 3:54PM
Well, yes and no. While they fixed a couple of issues where the game would select a previous target, there's no mention of the Tab-targeting issues being fixed.
Now maybe they have been fixed-- but the patch notes don't say so.

Zarhym as much as said that a patch fix for tab targeting was coming this week in the official "Bitch about Tab Target Thread" http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/189387/tab-target It would seem that Blizzard thinks that the targeting issues that they addressed should make tab targeting work properly again. If that turns out not to be the case, people will be blowing up about it on the forums in about 5 minutes.

"It would seem that Blizzard thinks that the targeting issues that they addressed should make tab targeting work properly again."
For certain values of "work", perhaps. Tab targeting didn't really work right when I started playing the game a few years ago, and it's never really worked right since, it's just that the ways it's broken change from time to time. One constant, though, is that it will fail to select the target right in front of you chewing on your face nine times out of ten...

All I want is this; when I'm tanking a group of mobs I want tab to select a mob from that group. Not the mob halfway down the hallway. These patch notes don't seem to indicate a fix to that..

I expected more fixes...

grrrr.... no player pet vehicle dismount fix
Cephas Aug 8th 2011 5:03PM
I thought that got hotfixed:
All combat and vanity pets should now respawn normally after players use any flight path.

@Cephas
Not that one - the bug where your pet does not respawn after you exit a quest "vehicle" - for example, when i pickup a turtle (for Punting Season) in Hyjal, the interface changes 9as if you are in a vehicle) - once you punt, you're back to normal, but HEY - no pet. And that lovely flamewalker is heading right for me....
The pet isnt "despawned" either, he's just not there - so you can't just summon him. The only "fix" to date is to quickly mount up and immediately dismount - pet returns as normal. Of course, if you've already aggroed something, you cant mount...

"Using an ability immediately after switching targets should no longer affect the previous target."
