Because the statue was raised by Khadgar and Turalyon soon after the orcs' defeat. Since the statue is still standing, even in an orc controlled area, I'm sure they put some magical wards on it to protect it, otherwise the orcs would likely have torn it down by now. But still...no plaque....shocking.

The statue is also really big and the local orcs are even more haphazard and inept at construction and engineering than regular orcs. It's quite possible that they're too incompetent to pull it down.
It's also possible that the statue comes to life and kicks their asses every time they try. Because Lothar is badass.
