On any given raid night, the only time any of our DPS needs to worry about threat is the first 5-6 seconds of a fight, even if we Bloodlust off the bat. Our air people need to be careful if they still have stacks on Alysrazor, and even then in our gear it's rare we have any threat issues. If our tanks didn't need to manage CDs and occasionally move what they're tanking, they could probably tab out and read a column here on Wowinsider, tab in, hit the boss a couple of times, then tab back out. What does bother me is anything *but* raids. Everyone says an undergeared tank in a heroic 5-man has issues holding threat - do you have any idea what it's like to be a *very* geared tank in one? You get NO Vengeance, ever. Our pally MT, when he runs them, literally takes gear off or tosses on an all out threat set. When I tank on my little paladin, who is still in t11 and 346 gear, only has threat problems when Hammer of the Righteous misses again, and again, and again. I tank for my guild's mains, who are basically full Firelands/partial heroic Firelands geared, and don't have issues. It seems rather silly, how Vengeance played out.
