Truly, the most beautiful set in-game. Grats!

@Shammich:AMEN BROTHER!In other news, I wonder how many DKs are going to be crying in the corner after they realized they deleted/sold that sweet, sweet armor set they walked out of Eastern Plaguelands with?

So glad I stashed that stuff in my DK's bank. It'll be hard choosing between that, T10, and T8. Man, DKs had some sweet armor sets in Wrath, huh?

I had the exact same thought when I saw this. My pally which has been my main since launch will be able to walk around in his hard earned Judgement set (collected over the course of the past 7 years). Then it occurred to me that people are generally unoriginal and every schmoe with the set will have it equipped on their pallys. So I am trying to figure out what set to wear, Soulforge most likely or banana shoulders I haven't decided.

2 WEEKS! I sold my DK starter gear 2 weeks ago to make space in my bank!!!!AAAAAARGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!/headdesk

GM's can restore that set for you. I put in a ticket during ICC saying basically that I was knew to the game and didn't think I'd want to hold on to old gear, but later regret trashing it and the GM was nice enough to give it back. It's just starter zone gear and vendors for copper, so there's no real risk involved as long as you dot make a habit of getting items restored.

You guys can't see the potential. I can raid with my mage in a tuxedo!
8-17-2011 @ 1:45PM
@Batleth: I knew I'd kept that all for a reason.
8-17-2011 @ 1:53PM
na.alnaji, afraid you can't.The items to use must have stats.

"DKs had some sweet armor sets in Wrath, huh?"I thought the art team did a better job with the DK armor in BC, but hey personal opinion right?

@ VitosNice troll.

@na.alnaji - that was my thought exactly (well, nearly - sexy red dress for me!), until this part:"only items that have stats can be used in the transmogrification process"Sad face! Though the Elegant Wedding Dress has 88 Armour.... I wonder if that counts as a stat? For that matter, most of the Tuxedo parts have armour as well, so you may still be in luck! IF you're a cloth wearer, that is:"Similarly, they won't allow you to change weapon or armor types. Sneaky death knights can't make that breastplate look like a cloth robe"All in all though, it's more positive than negative! I'm excited to see what we can do with this!!

My shaman still has the full cataclysm tier 5 set along with the fists. He is going to look so bad ass. I may have to raid with him again.

I just realized that the Fire Festival stuff (including the halo you get for stealing the fire from each opposing faction capital city) has stats....armor. That makes my day.The Runecloth Robe (which looks just like the Truefaith Vestments but is far, far cheaper to craft), Crown of the Fire Festival and Benediction is a pretty sweet starting point for a priest set.

I see a few problems with transmogrifying so far:1 - Since most holiday and novelty items don't have stats, we can't use them, which is half the reason i was looking forward to this feature, so boo on that.2 - Of the holiday and novelty items that DO have stats, most of them are cloth (to ensure all classes can wear them) but only cloth classes will be able to transmogrify to them! Boo again.3 - Most holiday or novelty sets don't cover every slot, so they're won't be much point in transmogrifying to them if we can't "hide" the other slots, like we currently can do with Helm and Cloak slots. Now would be the perfect time for Blizz to include a "hide" option for every viewable gear slot (except weapons). I don't see any reason why not. Sure, we could fight "naked" then, but why not? Conan the Barbarian anyone?4 - What is Blizz going to do about the 10 million requests for gear restoration they suddenly get from all the people who had to delete old, irreplaceable items because they had no place to store them and are going to want them back now?

I have a sneaking suspicion that armor is NOT going to count as a stat. If nothing else, it would be unfair for cloth classes to be able to transmogrify holiday sets while no one else can. I read "stats" as +stam, +agi, etc; the stats that make an item a green instead of a grey/white. Could be wrong, hope so, but that's how I'm interpreting things.
