I have a sneaking suspicion that armor is NOT going to count as a stat. If nothing else, it would be unfair for cloth classes to be able to transmogrify holiday sets while no one else can. I read "stats" as +stam, +agi, etc; the stats that make an item a green instead of a grey/white. Could be wrong, hope so, but that's how I'm interpreting things.
