Deathwing fight will feature a ride on his back

Gamescom has already brought us huge WoW news in the form of the gear transmogrifiers as well as gear storage NPCs and the fact that we will get to face Deathwing sooner than we thought. Stay tuned for more announcements.
Brace yourselves for what could be some of most exciting updates to the game recently with patch 4.3. Look at what's ahead: new item storage options, cross-realm raiding, cosmetic armor skinning and your chance to battle the mighty Deathwing -- from astride his back!

ok, they wrote that 4.3 is definitely the last patch of cataclysm and thats the case because the next expansion isn't far away

let a native speaker help you:
- Transmogrified (-mogrificated?) items will be useable in PvP (quote: "They caved in", abandoning the issue of recognizing equipment quality by its look)
- Transmogrification will be more expensive than reforging
- Void Storage to have 100 to 150 slots, but items stored there will lose all enchants and sockets (probably so that they only have to store the itemID)
- possible location for the Deathwing fight are the Twilight Highlands, but that is subject to change
- the mentioned CoT 5man is indeed War of the Ancients

Oh yeah an no transition raid akin to Ruby Sanctum, the next expansion should come soon after 4.3, with "small updates and events" to bridge the time.

Why is it that the biggest news of the expansion is released in a German article, and we have to rely on fans to give us translations? I would have expected a bit more international coverage on this from blizzard marketing.

I'd rather ask why not more of those news are relayed through non-English media, as the US market may be the origin and main seat of the company, but hardly the largest.

Maybe their international branch doesn't have a good grasp of NDA and other trade agreements?
Then again, they've released lots of news in blue posts for foreign languages... But there's also the possibility that the foreign forum mods might not have a good grasp of them, either.

I don't begrudge them for releasing some information in German at a conference in Germany, but saying the U.S. market is "hardly the largest" ? Honest question: Then who is? You're not grouping all of Europe together or something, are you? Since the squabble was about the language the announcement was made in (and I assume the fact that no official English translation was immediately or nearly-immediately available), such a grouping seems pretty silly. At the least, I'd expect English-speaking markets outweigh any one of the others if not all of them combined.

Fighting Deathwing multiple times might be a mistranslation of it being a multi-phase fight. Regardless, I can't wait to hack at Deathwing's central nervous system.

I actually expected something like this. After all, Deathwing is the largest of the aspects and is probably even larger due to Old God power-ups.
This fight on his back will probably be something like trying to destroy his elementium (right?) plates.

ohhh.. i cant think of a better way of destroying deathwing then letting him fall apart after we remove all of his duct tape... errr metal plates...
