Honestly, what I see firat when I target someone is not their gear, but their health pool. That says a lot about their gear level.

Silhouette identification is most useful when not targeting something, but when you can see them. However, in most cases, it doesn't matter. Bgs have level ranges, as does TB. The only time I could see it as an issue any more is in world PvP.
