I don't think that 'mogging' will do away with the idea of racial silhouettes.

Why? Because if Gear Silhouettes had the same level of important distinction placed on Racial Silhouettes, than every tier would be like T9. Seperate models for each faction. That way, you know that THOSE shoulders means that's a hordie and THAT helmet means they're alliance. Otherwise, gear = prestige and possible sign of skill, race = friend or foe.
