Mat, I think you're getting a head of yourself. As an artist I spend a great deal of time working on the silhouettes of characters, because they are vital. They give an instant recognition of everything you need to know about the character. It isn't about the clothing, its body language and height and build. It tells you more about the character than I think you consciously realize.

On the other hand, if they do abandon it my first thought isn't a cross-faction race (although I want to play a Panda desperately because I LOVE them) but an ability to modify our characters slightly. Height and weight mods? Yes please.
