Eyhk, it's not that I want a simplistic, nothing-on-it UI. It's that I want an option for each UI-changing feature to allow it to be disabled. If someone doesn't care what the item level of an item is, they can turn that off. If someone doesn't care what the vendor value of an object is, they can turn it off. It someone doesn't want their chat and/or combat logs in one place, they can move them. They add options to most of these changes. You can choose whether or not to have item levels on tooltips. You can choose whether or not the world map is fullscreen, or not.But the thing that makes me worried about this being a permanent change is this,"Hey, we're going to stick a clock up by the minimap. But there's an option to disable it if you don't want. Hey, look at that, we removed that option!"They added the option to remove the clock, then a few months later, REMOVED the option. So now you are forced to have the minimap clock even if you didn't want it (a clock always existed by hovering over the sun/moon and later the date.)I still would like to be able to change the quest log tracking to the old-style fading. So after it's been up awhile, it fades away unless you are completing objectives. Now you get two options. Up in your face all the time, or off. There should be a better answer than "download a mod."All that is needed is a "Show search field on bags and banks" option. They have options for a ton of other things, I hope this one gets one, too.
