Long Beach is worth flying into for the novelty factor, the terminal is so tiny the baggage claim is outdoors. The first time I went there I had to go around the parking lot twice to make sure the building I was looking at was actually "the airport".

Holy crap. I thought our airport was small. It has 4 gates, all in one room. You walk onto the tarmac to get to your plane. It has 4 desks for stuff like rental cars, which is comical. And the TSA bag search is done right next to the ticket counters.
