I would say that I definitely became much more dedicated to my faction when I switched from Alliance to Horde. I never hated the Horde as Alliance, but I've really grown to dislike the Alliance as Horde. Not everything the Horde does is roses and clovers but the Horde owns up to it. I feel like the Alliance sweeps their many transgressions under the rug and pretends they never happened.
The honesty is refreshing.

Also, can someone tell me why, even though I'm putting in my email and password, I still have to confirm every comment? =/

It could be you're typing your password wrong. I've noticed when I enter it incorrectly, I get the verification note. Other than that, no idea. The comment system is wonky and needs a vast overhaul.
Also, on topic, I find myself generally disliking most of the Horde quests, unless I'm in a bad mood. When I'm in a bad mood, and feeling like I want to make things hurt, the Horde quests are there, going "Come on in, brother. We're here for you. Embrace the rage."
The Horde is certainly more upfront about their atrocities, but that's largely because it's hard to ignore them when they're having you commit them constantly.
