A few things:
Get 2 feathers. It'll make the tornado phase laughable.
Crusade (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=31868/crusade) will usually be up going into the tornado phase. If you've got a feather, you can cast while moving, so make sure to help the healers out on yourself if you're down on health.
Get a general idea of where your 2 worms spawn. Move your bird away from the egg when it first hatches, because it's pretty close to where a worm spawns, & the bird spawns sated, so it's a waste of a worm if it goes for that worm before it's meant to.

Actually the worms ALWAYS spawn to the right and to the left of the hatchling just out of its reach, so if you tank him exactly where it spawns, it will be perfectly positioned to pick up either worm. The confusing part is that the worms spawn NOT relative to where the hatchling is now, but rathere where it was 10-15 seconds before the worm spawn time. So if you move the hatchling at the wrong time, there is a very high chance that the worm will spawn directly under it.
