The Queue: O____O

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.
All glory to the Hypnogoblin. All glory to the Hypnogoblin.
AdamAldaine asked:
As a rogue, I have a number of threat-reduction spells at my disposal, namely Feint and Tricks of the Trade. Granted there are other benefits of using them, but do you think these will get retooled to remove the threat-reduction properties?
I don't think so; especially in a 5-man setting, even with the new threat buffs tanks received, there are still going to be situations where you accidentally pull aggro or snipe the wrong mob and need an "aaaAAAHH!" button to hit. The buff certainly reduces the frequency of those situations, but I don't think it completely eliminates them.
ProfessorOrc asked:
Deathwing will be the end-boss for 4.3, but what do you think the other bosses will be for the raid?
I'm hoping to fight Chromatus. Although he was defeated they left it open in the book that he is still a possible threat. I could imagine him being like a council fight, with each head acting as a boss with a common health pool.
I'm banking on Magatha Grimtotem as a boss, though I'm not sure how it could be contrived; and yeah, I think we'll be seeing the Twilight Father and Chromatus again after their appearance in Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects.
It's pretty likely that we'll be seeing some of the new raid bosses appear in the new 4.3 5-mans too. Other than that, I'm just not sure who's left that we haven't already killed. Remember that Ulduar and ICC were both chock-full of brand new baddies.
Fuzzl asked:
Speaking of the new dungeons, what do you think the other two will be? I could be remembering wrong, but I thought Blizz made it sound like the 3 dungeons would relate to us weakening Deathwing before we actually fought him in the raid. So what else (and where else, too) is there to add as a Deathwing-related 5-man?
I think we'll be seeing an Icecrown-style pair of instances that relate to each other/Deathwing, though admittedly I have no earthly idea what they're going to be. The third one will be a Caverns of Time instance, probably a miniaturized version of the War of the Ancients raid we were supposed to get.
Luke Chaplin asked:
Has it been specifically stated that this is the last patch in the cycle or are we just presuming it is based on the 'Deathwing Raid'. Could it be possible that we fight Deathwing but just weaken him... or we just have to fight on his back until we ground him ready for the next raid? And then there is still room for more content this expansion.
Blizzard has said that 4.3 is the last raid patch in Cataclysm, meaning it is effectively the "last patch" in any meaningful way. There may be more bugfix patches or feature patches if absolutely necessary, but no more raids. Cataclysm is over when 4.3 hits.
Omri.wallach asked:
I ran Stonecore and Grim Batol on my alt the other day in queues and I noticed that there is a large un-explorable area on Stonecore's map and blocked-off stairs in Grim Batol before the last boss where some red dragonkin are holding the fort against some monsters. Possible places for the other dungeons? or part of the Deathwing raid?
Could just be for show, of course, happens a lot.
Pretty sure it's just window dressing. There's no possible way we'll have another Grim Batol lookalike instance. BWD and Grim Batol were enough.

Beat me to it.

Funny, just last night I was talking about Little Orphan Annie to some friends on GChat and how they apparently removed her.
Was I wrong? I hope not.
THE EYES.
Ronin Aug 20th 2011 2:16PM
Nice to see that people buy into the media's doctoring of photos (and choosing the worst ones to show) instead of thinking for themselves. Yeah, her eyes must be crazy, she's a Conservative woman, amirite?
Ata Aug 20th 2011 2:32PM
@Ronin
As someone from Minnesota, no, she's crazy.
Plus, this is the internet, we exist to make fun of horrible pictures of people.
Ronin Aug 20th 2011 2:47PM
Sorry, what was I thinking? I forgot, group-think carries the day around here. It's like being in high-school all over again.
Blazing Rain Aug 20th 2011 4:46PM
Ronin, I met her at the straw poll in Ames. She has scary eyes, but other than that, extremely photogenic.
AudreyR Aug 20th 2011 5:39PM
Ronin, not every joke told at the expense of a political figure is actually politcally motivated.
You should hear some of the things I've said about Hillary Clinton and I'm a registered Democrat.

I used to live in her district. I assume Stearns County Syndrome has a lot to do with her election. Not that she has it, necessarily, but the voters... she'd be unelectable anywhere else in Minnesota. If you think she's a bit batshit insane based on what you've heard on the national news recently, you don't know the half of it...
