Why are all the WoW insider staff so pessimistic about the idea of there being any raid after 4.3/Deathwing. Sure Blizzard has said they LIKED the idea of the advertised baddie being the end boss of the expansion but they have gone back on many things they have said before. For all we know we could be seeing another raid, much like how Ruby Sanctum was but better and on a larger scale finishing off the expansion.
Well, we're pessimistic (and this goes out to you, too, grumpy commenter Marius W) because Blizzard has openly stated that patch 4.3 is the final raid patch of Cataclysm. It wouldn't be the first time the devs changed their minds, of course, but it's a bit late in the game to plan another major content patch, with BlizzCon -- and the inevitable announcement of the next expandasion -- right around the corner.

Well, because there's no Night Elf child model, mainly.

Maybe I missed it, but with Transmogrification, you have to have both the old & new gear in your inventory to make the change. Fine, well & good. But...AFTER the change is made, can you then get rid of the old gear without affecting the new shape?
You don't consume the item when you transmogrify another item to look like it. You're free to toss it in the bank or in the trash afterward if you so desire.

Since Blizz are saying that 4.3 will be the last of this expansion, should we assume that we won't need to wait 1year+ to get the new misty expansion? Since they can't let us do same old shit for about a year... So to my question; Will they start their new policy with "more expansion, more often" already? Don't you think they'll lose too many players if they wait too long for a new one after 4.3?
We can expect to see a release for the next expansion in the second quarter of 2012. At least, that's what that leaked (and up to now, correct) product release slate indicated. Either way, with Blizzard out-and-out saying that this is the last content patch for Cataclysm, we won't be waiting long for what's next. Won't happen.

3 days left of my subscription until (most likely) the next xpac comes out or maybe a month during 4.3, but not more. What do you suggest I do in my last 3 days?

If you're letting your subscription expire, it's probably because the game doesn't hold any appeal for you until the next expansion or major patch comes out. If that's the case, why waste any more time in the game? Read Martin's "Game of Thrones." Go to the pub and have a pint. Play some Team Fortress 2.
If you're taking a vacation from this game, why put it off?

I think it's fun that you say that because I'm in the same boat with 3 days left on my sub, I'm still debating if I should drop another 15 for the next 30.

A mixture of boredom and the potential loss of income. I cut my subscription when it looked like I wasn't gonna have a job. I have since got a job, so now I'm on the fence :)

True, but I'll be the first to admit that I haven't done a good portion of the "small" stuff that make this game fun for others. Just tryin to get some reason to log on to also socialize with my guild. Basically, I'm tired of jumping around in SW while socializing lol
AND...if an idea is good enough, maybe I will add another 30 days *shrug*

Sorry guys, I hate to hijack a thread, but there is NO way the post-writers are scrolling through 8+ pages to find my question. If you have been playing a non-hunter and killed one of the taming challenges in Firelands as a hunter was taming it, what was your motivation? I was trying to tame Karkin, who I'd been camping for days, when a boomkin and a fury warrior came along and killed him, mid-tame. I am thinking of starting a petition to blizzard that they make all the taming challenges unkillable, sort of like Kirix. I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter, thanks! (Once again, sorry for hijacking the comments)

Perhaps not, but Spock totally vaporizes Rock.
And my opinion, he doesn't look mad at all. I see a wry smile. I think he just met a childhood buddy he hasn't seen since he was 5.
