The Daily Quest: Looking forward, looking back

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Around this time last year, I was working on Icecrown Citadel and looking forward to Cataclysm. The year before that, I was taking my first steps in a new raid guild as we worked on Ulduar and Trial of the Crusader. The year before that, I was clearing Black Temple. It gets fuzzier as I go back in time, but I do have hundreds of fond memories, and I wonder -- what am I going to be doing a year from now?
Today, we've got a few posts from around the blogosphere looking ahead at future content and one fond look at where we've been before.

A year from now, my guild is going to have Deathwing on farm. XD

It would be pretty sweet if:
- The final phase of Deathwing is ground battle in a roomy spot in the capitol city of one of the two factions
- The city (org/SW) is random or even always the opposite faction's capitol
- For one hour after killing DW, the raid members are marked as friendly with the opposite faction, and can chat with both sides
- The server first guild gets their city repaired (surprise!). Once the new expansion launches, both cities will be good as new.
This, of course, will never happen. But speculating is fun!

Today I ponder the recent changes in Blizzard's approach to designing WoW, what it means for the future and imagining a day in wow in 2019. :)
