Meet Murkablo, the BlizzCon 2011 exclusive pet
BlizzCon 2011 attendees and live stream purchasers will receive a gift this year of Murkablo, an in-game companion pet resembling the fearsome Diablo, main antagonist in the third game bearing his name. From the included screenshot, Murkablo appears to burn characters with fearsome, fiery breath.
Along with Murkablo, players will receive an as-of-yet unrevealed StarCraft 2 in-game gift. You can still purchase the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket at the site for $39.99, which gives you four channels, panels, game tournaments, the contests, and more, without actually having to run from panel to panel like we will be doing.
Ever since Murkablo was datamined, players had been wondering if Murkablo was going to be this year's BlizzCon exclusive pet or a pack-in companion for Diablo 3's inevitable collector's edition. Since BlizzCon pets are usually of the murloc variety, it was a safe bet that Murkablo would be our new best friend come BlizzCon 2011.

While I will enjoy getting this, am I the only one who wishes they'd give us another mount like /script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("\124cff0070dd\124Hitem:43599:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h[Big Blizzard Bear]\124h\124r"); ?

Ahh I still haven't grasped the whole linking thing yet. Anyways, my comment link was for the Big Blizzard Bear mount.

The only BlizzCon I've been to was when we got the mounts. My husband got Deathy last year so I believe I'm gonna claim Murkablo.
jude_rulz Aug 25th 2011 8:59PM
No murloc pets in the game? Except for:
Deathy
Grunty
Gurky
Lurky
Murkimus the Gladiator
Murky
.... yeah, just a few ;)
ninjivitis Aug 25th 2011 9:48PM
None of them are obtainable in-game.
Snuzzle Aug 25th 2011 9:59PM
All of which are from promotions outside the game. :)
Stephen Aug 26th 2011 1:01PM
@Snuzzle.
Not Murkimus.
Felix_rew Aug 25th 2011 9:44PM
So next year it's going to be a Murloc/Pandarian creature?
God help us all.
Snuzzle Aug 25th 2011 10:00PM
Should have been that this year imo.

Doesn't anyone else feels kinda disappointed that this pet looks and shares the sane animation as deathy? I was hoping for something more original :(
Telrik Aug 26th 2011 9:47AM
When I signed up for the virtual ticket, Blizz sent me this pet in the mail to all my toons on my account. I had him for 2 days before Blizz realized their mistake and took him away from me. /cry
eresin Aug 26th 2011 1:52PM
Can anyone confirm or deny if Murkablo's animations are the same as Deathy?
Tri Aug 27th 2011 6:49PM
I dont think it's all certain yet. Didn't they only finish Deathy's animations after it was already given out to people?

I have gotten the direct tv pay per view the last 2 years. I never got the codes for my pets. Even after many phone calls and emails both times. Not sure if I will get it this year.

deathy occasionally burps fire but he doesnt set you on fire murkablo looks to jump higher than deathy as well, yes when deathy was first released he was slightly confused and tried to be like his older brother grunty :) he ws soon told to behave and act like he should do by blizz :)
