There are several cloth "sets" that don't have a robe for the chest armor, many of these are green quality low level sets, so you MAY want to check the AH for these if you get a chance.

Also, someone a week or so back linked a website for RP gear which I've found useful for finding interesting looks for my character: http://roleplaygear.wordpress.com/
