I really don't raid but I do a lot of 5 mans. Since there are no duplicate classes in random 5 mans I have no idea what my dps should be. Is there a site that shows average dps for different classes and specs? I'm a ret pally.

I am with you Mike. My main is a healer and I know that I am doing well there, but I just leveled a arcane mage and I am trying to get a gauge on how I am doing on DPS. I know that I did almost 6k when I was at 83. Is that good or bad? I really don't have a reference. What should I be doing know that I just hit 85. Gear score about 315 right now.

Rough (and I mean very rough) figures for minimum dps I would give would be (at 85):-315 - 6 - 7k333 - 8 - 9k346 - 10 - 12k359 - 13 - 14k372 - 16 - 18k

That makes me feel better. I think I am probably on track then. Thanks.

@Mike: your DPS is going to fluctuate wildly in 5 mans depending on the group setup due to available buffs. Also your DPS will go up and down depending on how much you PuG vs run with guildies (luck of the draw). In other words, don't sweat it too much unless youre an order of magnitude lower than the other DPS. The numbers Paul posted are actually a tad high to my eye.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I know there are only a certain number of buttons to press and I use all the countdown addons and I think I know the rotation. Just bums me out a little.I'm not the one that needs to be told my dps is low. I am the first to admit it and apologize.
