As I said, I only suggest it for situations where maximum performance isn't critical.

Also, wearing the actual item itself means giving up hundreds of points in other DPS stats, which just isn't necessary - especially if:
1) ...you're going for a Leather or Mail look, which would still grant plenty of crit through Agility.
2) ...you can easily pick up high-level BoEs off the AH for this purpose.
