Problem with meta is that it takes time to sell them and people are just undercutting you to the floor. I cutted about 100 meta today only sold 20-25... on the other hand i crafted 200 inferno ruby per day and sell them ALL on wednesday. I prefer less profit but more quantity than having tones of meta in my bank. Heavenly shard sell very well too (100 per day).

So, i don't think meta is a good option (80g-90g each on my server). Using Ring+Neck to dez seems to be a good idea, but it's the same as meta, it takes too much time to sell your stock of powder/essence with enchanting scroll.

Carnelian are the only real thing useful because greater essence and inferno ruby sell fast so you avoid other people to undercut you.
