I'd have made them Big dark Gothic looking horses with barding if I had to pick a horse type. Seems more in keeping with the rest of the way their stuff is set up.
Almost closer to the way the death knight one's look, only w/o the horns or skull motifs.

Course, I think a smaller version of those wagons would have been a better idea, still want a passenger mount wagon.
