The Queue: Some notes ...

Everyone should go read Matt Rossi's Know Your Lore: Brotherhood of the Horse. Somehow I managed to schedule it at 6 a.m. yesterday instead of 6 p.m. I blame my cat. He was annoying me during my morning routines.
In other news, did you know that Mat McCurley and Fox Van Allen will be hosting our live meetup at BlizzCon? Mike Sacco and Anne Stickney will be hosting our live podcast that night, as well. Should be tons of fun! We'll be announcing the meetup details soon, so stay tuned.
JTrack3d asked:
Does Blizzard count it against you for submitting tickets against other players violating ToS?
If you're spamming tickets, then yes, it counts against you. Blizzard does keep track of such things, and there's a lot of personal judgment on the part of the GM handling the ticket. They'll give you warnings, telling you to stop sending in unnecessary tickets, etc. But if you're not spamming, you're fine.
In my time playing WoW, I've had to fill out several dozen tickets against other players by now. Back in the day when wall walking was a big thing, I'd report every damn wall walker in WSG.
Ph33nz asked:
What is the staff's experience with progression? Is anyone in a truly "hardcore" progression guild?
We have a wide array of staff members, from the progression raider to the super-casual. There are staff members here who are deep into heroic mode progression and others who are in between.
One of the big things I like about working here is that I get to interact with such variety of players. Some former staff members have been in top 10 (world) guilds. For myself, I've been in a top 150 (US) guild and have done the casual thing, too. Right now, I'm somewhere in between. My jobs (being an editor here and at another site) take up way more than eight hours a day, and my non-work/WoW life is full of fun and excitement as well.
I Don't Always Guy asked:
For xmorging will i be able to wear priest t1 on a mage becuase i will have the item and dont have token issues?
No, you'll need to be able to wear the item -- and a mage can't wear priest tier gear.
Alzeer asked:
with blizzard increasing the classes available for each race do think we will ever see undead druid?
I'd actually be surprised if we saw any more race and class combinations. Blizzard folks have said a few times now that the races and classes have reached a near-universal point and that they don't want to go any further. So no, I don't think you'll see any Undead druids.

restodr00d Sep 1st 2011 11:07AM
True but i would like to see Gnome Hunters I mean Goblins have hunters too and they are basically the same.

Kitten ability - Purr rank one, taunts the enemy into petting you for 3 seconds

Gnomes ARE one race/class combination behind the other races... though I think they should probably get Paladins. Hunters, at the very least.
Ilmyrn Sep 1st 2011 11:12AM
Undead paladins would be super sweet, and would maybe get me back to Horde.
Strawder Sep 1st 2011 11:13AM
I'm holding out for Human and Blood Elf Druids to make up part of the next set of Race/Class annoucements. There's already a Belf druid in Outland (boss), and if Worgen (Gilneans) can be Druids, then of course Humans would be able to as well, probably even learn it from the Worgen.

That would almost be as bad as Goblin shaman...
fallemwarrior Sep 1st 2011 11:16AM
I can maybe see paladin because of their recent venture into the light, but i cant really see a gnome with a pellet gun, unfortunately and as cute as they would be i don't think druid is in the question
Strawder Sep 1st 2011 11:17AM
Someone should make a Goblin Shaman and name it Beepee.
Kurtis Sep 1st 2011 11:20AM
Undead paladins would destroy themselves.
fallemwarrior Sep 1st 2011 11:22AM
My goblin is named shablin O.o
Zayd Sep 1st 2011 11:24AM
Orc Paladins.
Make it happen Blizz.
Wulfkin Sep 1st 2011 11:33AM
Technically they wouldn't destroy themselves, it would just hurt, a lot. We already have Forsaken Holy Priests. I think Undead Paladins would be awesome, make them a small determined order of Forsaken willing to fight bitterly on despite the pain of the Light.
I also think Worgen deserve Paladins, there must have been some Paladins in Gilneas before the wall was built. Is the Light really so fickle that you can wield its powers when in human form but not in wolf form?

The problem with Gnome Hunters is that Engineering would become almost a required profession to take, for the guns. Blizzard likes to avoid giving any big armoring profession a racial bonus, and they'd also like to keep engineering as a "fun" profession, instead of one you take because you need the gun and goggles.

Someone - it might have been a Queue or two ago - said that gnome Balance druids would have Egg Form.
I would play a gnome druid FOREVER if this happened. ^_^

missing race/class combinations:
gnome hunter, night elf warlock, draenei warlock, tauren warlock, draenei rogue, tauren rogue, orc priest, tauren mage, a bunch of druids, a bunch of shamans, a bunch of paladins.
What I think will be really awesome:
draenei warlock and undead paladin (it's so unfitting and contradictory that I like it)
gnome druid (cub form and kitten form FTW)

I've wanted gnome paladin ever since Beyond The Tree went on my regular webcomic reading list.
Morcego Sep 1st 2011 12:11PM
Draenei rogues ... yeah, there is a combo with great potential for stealth ...
