Phat Loot Phriday: Necklace of Fetishes

Now, though, Lolegolas stood in the middle of the room, carefully examining his bullets. "These are all fine," the Blood Elf said. "I'm a little surprised, actually, considering how long I was out of action. I should be ready to go with you to the Firelands."
Throgg set the amulet down on a table. "Not going to fire land. Something we need to do first."
Lolegolas cocked his head to the side and waited expectantly. The Gilnean simply drank his tea.
"At the Grimtotems," Throgg said. "There was a little girl. Human. I need to know what happened to her. Did you see her?"
The druid nodded slowly. "I remember her. I was ... distracted, and lost track of her. I tried looking about the camp, but had no luck."
"We find her," Throgg said. "Get vengeance if we must. Then Firelands. Deal?"
Lolegolas dropped the bullets into his ammo pouch. "Deal. We find the girl."

How to get it Kill Shannox. Don't question why a necklace of fetishes is being carried by a lone dude with two dogs.
How to get rid of it It sells for 5 gold, 34 silver, and 34 copper.
How to use it The Necklace is obvious for plate DPS characters. More importantly, this is the only dropped strength DPS neck in Firelands. Your only other option is from valor points.

Woot, the heroes are back and looking to make a wrong right. Waiting in quiet anticipation. Okay, not so quiet.

And the story continues...

How exciting! They've already got a "pet"; are Throgg and Lolegolas going to adopt a child next?
A lovely, happy, slightly deranged family. :P

Anren and Tholo will get jealous.

...gonna show my age here, but...
Ok, so which one's Tom Selleck, which one's Guttenberg, and who's the Cheer's Dude?
Task Sep 2nd 2011 11:16AM
@GuyverIV
Throgg = Tom Selleck
Lolegas = Steve Guttenberg
Not Spot = Ted Danson aka the Cheers guy
I may be wrong about the latter 2 though.

Yay! This story always makes me happy.
I wondered what happened to that little girl too. I'm glad they are going to find out.

I thought Throgg was an Orc? Did he get a race change/faction change?
Ullaana Sep 2nd 2011 11:10AM
The Gilnean is Not_Spot the druid.
ravyncat Sep 2nd 2011 12:10PM
Just because Throgg is an Orc, does not mean that he has no compassion for a human child that is held captive by the Grimtotem. I would think any reasonable person would be upset seeing a child in such a situation.
All the PLP boys are heroes and heroes save little kids in trouble no matter what race/faction they might be. It is just what they do.

Orcs are like a perfectly toasted marshmallow: dark and crusty on the outside, gooey in the middle.

@Tirrimas
That's funny, just last week I'd heard some orcs saying the same thing about perfectly toasted children.
Then again... maybe it was "Cowmen," but why would they be talking about Tauren? That's just silly.
Ylspeth Sep 2nd 2011 11:22AM
If they start talking about the human girl's draenai sister and night elf mother I'll be highly amused.

Indeed, this was the first thing that popped into my mind. (Also, MOAR!)
