Ha! Now count the ones they actually did eventually implement. How about "innervate now only works on caster." Pretty much - it's only good for 5% on others now, not worth the trouble.

More examples:"Preventing hunters rolling on items that are more optimal for other classes" - implemented by the new group loot system, for every class"Paladin gains 2% increase to dps for every cloth item worn..." - implemented by armor specialization, for the proper armor classes though; still, the concern was recognized and addressed."Paladin can no longer self cast Lay on Hands." - Word of Glory for ret paladins has a "benefit others more" model that mimics this."Troll Shaman will gain the full benefits of Berserk despite their percentage of health." - I think this applies to every troll now...most of the other world changes really are relics of the past, but here's a funny one:"A total of 26 new flightpaths have been added to various points throughout the Barrens." - and we all thank you for it, Blizz.

The dungeon throttle really got implemented too, though at a much reduced rate of 5/hour.And sadly, I remember reading these and realizing they were fake but thinking "Ha! Scarlet Monastery Graveyard! It's a joke becaue so many people wipe in Cath!":| yeah, that dungeon is actually real and the joke was no one did it.

Snuzzle, the 5 dungeons per hour limit was in the game prior to these patch notes. It was put into place to keep gold farmers from going into instances, stealthing to a chest, looting it, and repeating it endlessly. That's also why chest contents became less and less valuable, and eventually chests disappeared altogether. This "patch note" was making fun of the limit that already existed.

The chest exploit could have been fixed so easily; simply have it aggro all mobs in the area when it's opened. No more stealthing to loot chests, problem solved.

Smango, they did that. Chests originally didn't aggro anything around it when you opened it. Then it did, everything within about 10 feet aggro'd on you.Still didn't stop them.
