I like ElvUI except for one thing, and if someone can help me fix it I'll reinstall it and use it forever. It's the action bars and how they stack (bottom to top rather than top to bottom), and also the placement of the pet bar. I don't speak LUA very well so I'm afraid to get in there and tinker with anything. Advice?

I use ElvUI almost completely stock except I, also, dislike their action bars. I simply disabled them and used BarTender instead (with the Caith overlay so they match).

The best thing to do right now is wait for Elv 3.0 which has movable and configurable action bars. He has a section in his forums showing off the modules of Elv 3.0 that are closer to finish including the customization demo of his new action bars module.

yeah, there's an option somewhere where you can use the main bar at top-- if you can't find it ask in forums but if you're patient enough to search you'll find the option somewhere on action bars' menus
