She is part of a pet murder industry. She probably supplies the local panderana noodle shops in Old town.

Take a good look at the cleaver. It's fresh. Your pet might be next!

As a kitty owner - I know that cats are Carnivorous. Now with that many cats there will not be enough natural food (ie mice etc) to feed them - and as a 'Cat lady' she must have a lot of them. To feed them she will have to provide them with food in the form of fresh flesh. So she ends up chopping up a cow or sheep or chicken (they all are nearby her shack). She is NOT a pet killer. Oh and she doesnt fish - mostly cos them damn robbers are always hanging about nearby so she dare not leave to fish the river - esp as she never leveled the skill.

I figured the cleaver was what kept the robbers at bay. That or the smell of cat pee.

I too would reach for the cleaver if some weapon clad stranger waltzed into my house uninvited in hopes of making off with my pets.
