Shamanistic rage, defensinve talents and bubbles, not to mention wolves. Shamans definitely have defenses. To the point, that in low rated 2v2 arena we actually put tank-specced enh. shaman in crap gear (~1k resielience) in front, while im waiting for the to come out of cower as well geared arcane mage using invisibility+shadowmeld. One they are out of los, shaman can tank them long enough for me to obliterate the healer (who can't get any cast off with shaman shearing him constantly).
