Patch 4.2 hotfixes for Sept. 8

Guilds in 25-man raiding groups were completing the staff too quickly, making it easy for each guild to obtain many of the legendaries. Having multiple legendaries per guild, especially when moving into the next tier of content, is going to be a pain to balance, so Blizzard has put the kibosh on being able to reasonably get multiple staffs per raiding group. Such is the way of things. Hit the jump for all of the new hotfixes.

To be honest... I don't see a problem with using the phrase "an x person raid". However, there is no need to call out Levi's comment as being sexist. The definition of the word man does tend to refer to man as in the sex of a person; however, the definition of man does happen to be "an individual human" as well as "a member of the human race". The word that the English language derives the word man from also has a meaning similar to the genderless "one" in English.
As Stabaa would probably agree, all this political correctness is one small step for person... and one giant leap for personkind. It really makes me proud to be a member of the huperson race.

When are they going to fix the lava bolt crossbow so it doesn't go BOOM like a gun?
devonaelick Sep 9th 2011 3:40AM
Working as intended, and my Dwarven comrades and I wouldn't have it any other other way. If we can't have a gun, at least we can pretend...

Maybe those bolts are boldly breaking the sound barrier each time...

Considering it's hotfixes that don't need a patch, I think they should be up on the EU realms as well

"The Wrath of Tarecgosa should no longer trigger melee procs from trinkets, however, it should still trigger melee procs from abilities such as Flametongue Attack."
Didn't realize this would be an issue.. are there that many Enh shammys using the legendary staff?

Darn you Blizzard for being so vague about the VPLC buff! This trinket has simmed lower than many 378 trinkets before this buff, but it's hard to say how they've buffed it and consequently how it will sim in the future. May have to gamble and roll on it and assume it now trumps Necromantic Focus or DMC:V for my ele shaman
