Patch 4.3: Warrior tier 13 armor revealed, looks like Deathwing

Check out the Blizzard blog post for the images from all of the previous tiers as well as a great picture of the new warrior tier set coming in the next patch.
A simple concept – let's make a Warrior Tier that looks like Deathwing! Gnarled dragon horn and angular elementium plating with burning fire behind it were the key ingredients.
The shoulder pads and helmets are uniquely modeled for each set, and that gives us great opportunities to create eye-catching silhouettes. In this instance, the sweeping horn shapes ensure a powerfully brutal-looking set for warriors.

oh my god!!! makes me want to rush to level my warrior!!1!
actually no; playing a class simply for aesthetics is lame. tried so many times to level a warrior and got bored..
that said, however; I like this look of this a lot. can't wait to see what's in store for the classes i do play

Give it a few expansions and the chest slot will become extinct. The belts keep growing with each tier. I predict in 3 expansions time belts will also cover the chest for all males but only cover the navel for females. In 6 expansions times the belts will cover the chest and the head.

Please no more WWF belts! The set looks great but throw a tabbard and bam mega belts. And why in the world do they not extend down! The belt was meant to hold the cod piece not protect my chest.

The belt slot won't even cover the navel of a female character. It'll be a tiny little navel piercing with a decorative chain that loops around their waist.

I find it funny that this post is beside tomorrow's "Around Azeroth" picture that shows a huge belt on someone.

To be fair, if anybody's gonna sport a giant WWF belt, it ought to be the Warrior. ;)

The problem is obviously that he's not wearing a belt--that is a girdle.

Once you put on this belt, you can no longer bend over. So be sure to equip your boots first.

Love it! may cause me to switch over to my warrior from my hunter unless he also gets some sort of aspect-stalker-esque gear

Yeah, because belts are supposed to hold up your pants in a suit of armor, not look like something that protects your stomach from being punctured. These "wrestling federation" belts are based on Hulk Hogan, not ancient gladiators from Rome.

it almost looks like a codpiece more than a belt (yes I realize it's a bit high up) :P
Jonisjalopy Sep 8th 2011 9:28PM
Sexy! Pretty sure we can parry with that epic chin...
Bellajtok Sep 8th 2011 9:29PM
There are so many ways that dressing up one class as the end boss could be bad.
Tdog Sep 8th 2011 9:35PM
I fully agree with you here. I think the set looks awesome but I can imagine the storm this are can and might brew up.
