It's worth noting that what's referred to as a "biscuit" here is *not* the same thing as a "biscuit" elsewhere in the Anglosphere. The US "biscuit" is a kind of unleavened scone. The UK "biscuit" is what Americans would call a "cookie". A UK "cookie" is generally larger than a UK "biscuit".

I too was wondering what a roll of chilled biscuits could possibly be!

Thanks for clearing that up - I was totally confused!
My brain: "But...why would biscuits (or cookies) be in the fridge? And how would they magically turn into dough?"
It makes much more sense now!

PS: does anyone know if this magical mushy sconey stuff exists in the UK?
Is it just premade pastry-mix-type-stuff?

Oh, I also had to google "skillet". It's a frying pan. Today I am learning ALL the things!
(All I knew about skillet was that it was a type of fish. Again, I was confused there for a minute :P )

@kook Y'all don't have little cardboard cans of dough that pop when you tear the paper label off? They also come in frozen bags, but then you have to thaw those (and they stick together and they taste weird).

In the US, this is what a biscuit usually looks like.

And the absolutely best doughnuts in the world are Krispy Kreme.

Oh, dear Maker(s), no! Krispy Kreme is just grease-covered nastiness! Have you never had Timmies?!

I don't live in Canada, so no. (Assuming you are talking about Tim Horton's.)
But anyone who calls Krispy Kreme "grease-covered nastiness" I wouldn't trust on the judgment of doughnuts. Krispy Kreme is awesome. Tim Horton's might be good, but Krispy Kreme is still known country-wide.

Step away from my Timmies, and no one gets hurt.

No dough in a can where I am from (Ireland) but I am a bit prone to the croissants in a can, which are a style like what you described. Oh the nyommage!
