My first character was a night elf druid. My first wow moment was the first time that I arrived in Dolanaar And saw the giant ancient protectors. This being my first and only mmo And for some reason it just really impressed me.

My first character was also a druid. I remember cracking up my friends--who had recruited me--when I first saw the Protectors.

I heard the one that patrols Dolanar and felt the ground shake and freaked out because I thought a giant tree monster was coming to kill us.
I think I spammed the say channel (because I did not remember how to talk in party) with, "What the hell is that?! :O Gah!! Is it going to get us?"
Probably amused--or annoyed--everyone there with my noobiness. >.>;;

I'm still leery of them to this day even though I know better. XD
