I think the first time I made a blood-elf mage right after I bought BC, the first time I hit Silvermoon (it's very beautiful for an empty city) and the first time I went through the portal into Outland. The art was just so different from what Azeroth held at the time that I was very impressed.

I remember walking up to the Dark Portal for the first time and being taken by the sheer size of it. For whatever reason, I thought the portal was supposed to be smaller. But it was HUGE! The two statues that flanked the portal itself were bigger than anything I'd ever seen! I'm pretty sure that's the first time I felt very very tiny as a player.

I love the fact that you entered the Dark Portal leaving Azeroth as a level 60 at the top of the foodchain. To then appear in Outland with the portal much bigger making your character seem very small again.
