The Daily Quest: And never let a cricket be your guide

I have to admit it: Pinocchio was never one of my favorite Disney films. When I was a kid, the scene where all the children turned into donkeys completely freaked me out. As I grew older, it grew less disturbing -- but I still wondered what the heck the point of it all was. Then again, I was trying to make sense out of a movie that featured a puppet taking advice from a cricket. ... no wonder that never quite worked.
Today we've got some guides and advice from around the blogosphere, and I'm relatively certain none of them were written by crickets (or any other insects, for that matter).

They was a reference to Pinocchio on Warehouse 13 tonight.
I don't know if it is true or not but one of the character say in the first version that it had Pinocchio hit the cricket with a hammer when it try to give advice.

Yes, in the book, Pinocchio kills the cricket cause he gets tired of his bitching. And in Cinderalla, the stepsisters cut off their big toes and their heels to get their feet into the glass slipper. OH and Rapunzel got pregnant by the guy who climbed her golden stair and the witch threw her out! Ahh, Grimms, got to love it!
