I wonder if everyone who thinks this tier is dull is looking at the full-sized image in the Blizzard preview. This isn't the biggest gear ever available in game, but the level of detail is breathtaking: the vines/ropes weaving in and out of the branches; the glowing shards that look buried in the gear instead of embedded; the two swooped-back feathers on the front of the helm. This is gorgeous on the night elf, I can't wait to see how it looks on the other races (I reserve judgement on male worgen, though).

Oh, my mistake, those aren't shards on the shoulders, they're bioluminescent mushrooms. o.o

the level of detail is amazing, no complaint there but still it does look boring, doesn't have a wow factor, nothing.

I'm with you here. Everyone saying it's bland must not be looking at the full size image. I wish there was a bit more to the helm, but the shoulders alone look like they had more work put into them than the entire warlock set.

@restodrood: I'll concede the lack of a 'wow factor,' but then again look at Malfurion, the most powerful druid on Azeroth. The only thing that's striking about him is that he's stuck halfway between forms with antlers growing out of his head; his gear is rather plain and unassuming, unlike what most of the other "best in class" NPCs are wearing. The thing for me is that this looks exactly like what a high-power druid should be wearing, because an advanced druid wouldn't be seeking glamor and attention but a deeper connection with nature, and most of nature definitely isn't flashy and glitzy.
Goddammit, I should just transfer to an RP server already.

I like how you think.
As for the colors not being "striking" or "vibrant" as others are saying...wait, what? The devs here really did delve into some nice harmonious color theory to make sure it flowed together. Nothing is shrieking out at you, I love it.
I also agree about the supposed humble nature of how a super powerful druid would compose themselves.
Hoping the same sort of understated elegance for the shaman tier.
